Happy Halloween

I wanted to share with you my neighbors who celebrate Halloween in a big way.  Their names are Marlene and Darlene and they have been decorating for as long as I can remember.  Each year it gets bigger and bigger.  Here are a few snapshots of the gh'oul house and the girls.

 

All over the country

I wanted to share with you a few of the places I have been in the last week.  I am traveling around the country and doing book signing in various cities.  It has been incredibly moving the people I have met and the stories they have shared with me.  I have been in Lutherville, MD; Novi, MI; Dearborn, MI; Vienna, VA; Bloomingotn, MN; Dayton, OH; Chicago, IL; Newport Beach, CA and Laguna Hills, CA all in the last week.  Here are just a few of the people I have enjoyed sharing time with.  Check my calendar to see when I may be in your area.  I would love to meet you.

A fabulous woman

Lenox Debut

I am so thrilled to share with you with my new products that are being produced by Lenox.  Here is a sample of the vases that will debut at the Tabletop show in New York this week.  I will be there on Friday afternoon, October 27 and would love to share them with you.

A Really Big Heart

Art with a Heart is one of my favorite charities I wanted to share with you.  They lead interactive visual arts experiences to underserved and disadvantaged Baltimore area residents.  It is a great organization that helps a trememdous amount of people and allows them to use the power of art to change their lives.  Please check out their website at www.artwithaheart.net

My Favorite Girls

I spent Tuesday night with some of my favorite girls making a necklace for their mentors.  The girls are members of GEM, which is a program at a Baltimore High School to empower girls by providing opportunities and growth experiences which will enable them to become independent, self-sufficient, and confident young women.  To learn more about GEM visit their website at www.gemmaryland.org. 
It was so much fun to spend the night creating and laughing.
