BeDazzle a Huge Success
Last night I attended the annual benefit for one of my favorite charities. It is an organization called GEM, which is a program to empower high school girls from underserved communities by providing opportunities and growth experiences which, in turn, will enable them to become independent, self-sufficient, and confident young women.
I helped design the centerpieces which were made or recycled materials in honor of Earth Day. The event raised a great deal of money which will provide scholarships to all the girls so they may attend college. To find out more about GEM click here

Stand Up Stand Out
I spoke to a group of sorority women last week at the University of Maryland. It was part of a series they have called Stand Up Stand Out, where they invite various women speakers to talk about business and their role in the community. I had a great time and met some incredible young women.
